Policies and Fees
As part of the therapeutic relationship, confidentiality is not only integral for building trust and
enhancing the therapeutic relationship between therapist and client, it’s also a protective measure
to ensure that a client’s information is kept private. A client’s information may not be disclosed without the prior written consent of the client, or in cases where a client’s or others’ safety may be compromised such as:
In cases of suspected child abuse, elderly abuse, or abuse of a dependent adult.
In cases where a client is threatening to commit suicide or threaten serious harm to themselves.
In cases where a client is threatening serious injury to another person.
In cases such as these, the therapist will need to break confidentiality to keep the client safe and/or keep other individuals safe by making a report to the proper authorities (i.e. Department of Child and Family Services, Police) and/or notify designated individuals that can assist in keeping the client or other individual(s) safe.
Cancellation:
Please note that if a cancellation is made less than 24 hours in advance, the full-service fee will be charged.

Payments can be made via cash, check, or insurance (please check with the therapist regarding which insurances the therapist accepts).

The therapist can provide monthly superbills upon request for clients to send to their insurance for possible reimbursement (clients can check with their insurance to see if they accept superbills).
